Volunteer at the Henrietta Basin to restore native habitats by weeding a large section of the basin to get it ready for the upcoming planting season!

Volunteers should wear closed-toe shoes and clothes suitable for weeding, and bring water.

Help out with setting up and running SBI while the band students are warming up, performing, and at awards. For the first shift, you will help with the equipment trucks in the parking lot and on Henrietta Street. For the second shift, you will help at the entry gate, parking lot, bake sale, the band staging area, or help in the gym for hospitality. All jobs will switch to cleanup when awards start (around 9 PM). 

NOTE: You may not sign up for this event if you are a part of the West High Entertainment Unit.

• Help take part in the Nature Festival hosted by the Madrona Marsh Nature Center and Preserve. Volunteers will take part in reading pre-selected nature stories to children of various ages, help children assemble puppets and put on a show, make sun hats with children and adults, help children and adults create seed balls using soil and native seeds, make nature bracelets, assemble ladybug, butterfly, and frog finger puppets, and fill in wherever we need help.
