Madrona Marsh Habitat Restoration

  • Volunteers will be cleaning up the marsh, planting, and pulling weeds out.

  • It’s been a full year since the first time CSF helped with the Marsh. Everyone must fill out the following forms!

    • Torrance waiver form on file – parents sign for minors.

    • Participants under 18 years of age must have a signed parental consent form to participate.  

      Those who are 14 or under must have a parent present! Your shoes may get dirty.  Arrive 5 minutes early with both of your forms printed and filled out so that I can collect them and turn them in. You will find me inside the Madrona Marsh building!

  • At the Katy Geissert Library, volunteers will help organize books, transporting them on carts for patrons, and checking for receipts at the exit.

  • Please fill out the library volunteer form and bring it to the event.

  • Help out at the Los Angeles Maritime Museum’s annual Lego Shipbuilding Contest! Help contestants with kits, registering their models, and answering any needed questions. Training and snacks will be provided upon arrival.

    NOTE: Parking is extremely limited, so volunteers that can be dropped off will be prioritized.
