• Time & Points: 9:00 - 10:00 am / 4 points

• Volunteers will be assisting in preparing our Rose Garden for the winter months! Tasks may include spreading mulch, pulling leaves, etc. This is a physically intensive task; volunteers can expect to be doing frequent kneeling, squatting, bending, some light lifting, and careful stepping in the Garden beds (staff will help point out sensitive plants). 

• Volunteers MUST be a minimum of 15 years old and must create a VolunteerHub account and sign up online. A parent/guardian must sign the waiver. Both the waiver and sign-up are linked here. . There should be an option to do it electronically in VolunteerHub when they sign up (you can email it to your parent or guardian, who can then sign it electronically), or you can fill out the physical form here.  Please create an account and sign up AFTER you have been approved to volunteer!

• Volunteers can check in at the front desk, and make their way to the Rose Garden by 9 AM (so you probably want to get here 5 or 10 minutes early).

• Volunteers should also bring gloves! Long leather gloves are the best. We'll be pulling leaves off of Rose Plants, so be prepared to get scratched.
